Although some of the benefits for going to this theater are gone with the previous closure of the South Square mall, I still prefer this theater to South Point. Its not as shiny glamorous but its less crowded. If you want goodies (variety of foods, etc.) this is not the theatre for you. However, I find that I can always count on this venue to show all of the so-called black movies regardless if Will Smith is staring in them. Can't depend on the other theatres to do that. This one works for me.
i like a movie theatre where i need to put toilet paper on the seats so i don't get crabs or bedbugs or what not. this definitely adds to the feeling of tension while watching action flicks...
Carmike is the worse place you can go watch a moive bad services and a nasty unclean theater. I would NEVER go there again.
