Yes there are mice in this theater . Me and the family went to see a movie and while we were walking down the hall way we saw a mouse running past someones foot..I think that any theater you go to will have mice . there is to much food on the floor for there not to be.They only get the cleaning team in the middle of the night so food sits there all day.Otherwise I have also had a prob with my child that would not sit threw a movie and they would not give me my money back.I got a store credit. People are nice there.

You really can't beat the price of this place. The theater is clean and the staff are friendly.
To all the negative reviewers complaining about the children...
You need to understand that if the staff asked you to leave it was on account of other people complaining. So whether or not you thought what Little Johnny was doing was "cute" or "just giggling," be honest with yourself. Its your child so of course you are going to cut them slack during a movie.
I, however, applaud the staff for making an effort to ensure that my movie isn't ruined by screaming babies or children talking loudly during every scene. A parent might not understand how a talking child can easily ruin a movie. The worst I have heard was "Daddy daddy! Donkey Kong just fell off the empire state building" during King Kong. This is an emotional scene that was completely ruined for me. If you want your child to be expressive during a movie, rent it and enjoy it at home. Otherwise, have respect for the other people trying to enjoy themselves.

It's A buck fifty people!! What do you expect? I took my kids weekly over the summer. You can't beat $1.50 for a movie. The staff was friendly and every time we went it was clean. The theater is old, but I'm not interested in Stadium seating and reclining seats for under $2. When I want that I go to a first run theater. Definitely worth the price. I have never seen a rat in the place.

For $1.50, great! Some people can get a little rowdy, loud, etc., at times....but not every single time I've been. I've experienced that at the more expensive movies as well. Well worth it for the "new releases" you missed and prefer to see it on the big screen!

I think its a great theater. Not only is it very family oriented but the people who work there are generally quite friendly. Some of these claims about the terrible people and the rats, in my opinon are totally false. Maybe there are a few rats there - not like I look at the floor during the movie - but I also love the location. The K-mart near by although not the most amazing place, you can buy candy n' such for a cheap price. But its also near Grand Slam USA, which is a great, fun thing to do before or after a movie. All around great theater. :D

My husband and I recently moved to Durham and the theater is about 15 to 20 minutes away. We definitely drive the little bit of distance because the theater is wonderful. Very family orriented! Always very clean and of course a wonderful price! We try to go at least every week. I definitely recommend it.

I give this theatre four stars for saving my family so much money. Well we just would not have gone to the movies because I absolutely refuse to play the rediculous prices at the overpriced theatres, where I've been 5 times in my life. I was expecting, honestly, the theatre to be very ran down and dirty. The only part of the entire experience that I did not like was the restrooms, they were about as dirty as an unkept restroom would look. The smell was bad and the womens had tons of flies. Once you were out of the restroom, you were right back in a regular priced theatre.
They make up for the cost with their food prices. Around $3.00 for a small drink, and I think it was like $3.50 for popcorn. I could not afford these so did'nt look beyond the small coke price.
We were very happy we went after staying for the movie.
Well worth the wait for a movie.
They do take credit cards as well.

My fiancee and I have been going to this theater for ages, three years or so- and recently while watching the movie "The Forbidden Kingdom" we noticed a rat scurry across the aisle way. I believed I was the only one to see it, but I looked at her, and she had asked me if I saw it, as well. I looked around the theater for a few minutes, and no one else had reacted strangely- so seeing these creatures might be uncommon, but we're certain that there is at least one rat in the theater.

it is a great place to go and watch movies i try to go about 2 times a week i like it there i have nothing bad to say about it and for all the people talking about rats i have been going there for almost a year and i have never ever seen a rat
